NIKEiD Air Force 1 Returns With Wool Option
Fast on the heels of the Nike Air 180, another celebrated model is making its triumphant return to NIKEiD. The venerated Air Force 1 is launching at midnight ET tonight on Nike’s customizing platform. As a post-Halloween treat, the first 750 pairs will feature a wool material option. But be quick — once those 750 pairs are sold, the wool option disappears. From the initial images provided by Nike, we can see that the Air Force 1 will be come in both low and high-top styles, and that a suede overlay and translucent outsole will also be available. New Balance HS77 – Sonic Pack
First introduced as part of the Past, Present and Future Collection with Leftfoot and Streething, New Balance is issuing the HS77 model as a general release for Holiday 2011. The mid-styled runner comes in three colorways — tan, green and black — and features seamless Weld construction on the suede upper. A refashioned flex-grooved outsole in white and padded nylon collar, as well as hits of contrast color at the heel and eyelets, complete the look. All three are available for pre-order now through mita sneakers.

Nike Air Royal Mid – Knit Pack
Certain materials are immediately identifiable with cold weather seasons, for example the sort of chunky wool found on sweaters, scarves, beanies … and sneakers? Nike introduces an Air Royal Mid that features a tonal upper dressed with a combination of suede and knit textile, breathing new life to a traditional silhouette while keeping your toes warm. The shoe comes in two colorways, each built atop a contrasting white midsole. Check out images of both styles after the jump.

Nike Sportswear Lava Dunk | Preview
Another entry to Nike Sportswear Fall and Winter 2011 Collection would be the Lava Dunk. While some purists repudiated the hybridization of Air Jordans, none have shown dismay when this ACG and Nike Basketball fusion appeared late last year. On the contrary, many retailers couldn’t keep them in stock for long. Aside from the Lava Dome inspired colorways, these new versions are identical to the previous ones, with D-Ring eyelets, cord laces, and suede/mesh composition as upper. No exact information on release date and retailers as of now, so stay tuned to Freshness as they become available.

Moe’s Sneaker Spot – Steinway Queens Grand Opening Re-Release Launch | Event Recap
To seek out the “hard to find”, the “most desirable”, even the “unattainable”, sneaker heads would brave almost anything. And when Moe’s Sneaker Spot announced an unique opportunity for anyone to purchase some of the most sought after editions at the originals stated prices, it was a guarantee folks would sacrifice their Memorial Day Weekend for the line-up. Indeed, while the newest Moe’s location in Astoria, Queens was only partly finished, largely due to the errors of construction contractors. Folks still came, with a few die-hards camped out days before. When Saturday came around, 500+ people were on that particular stretch of Steinway Street, prompting Moe’s neighboring retailers to summoned the police several times. (though the officers couldn’t find anything awry except a queue that stretched several doors down. With any major release occasions, all those attended the event dressed their best as a show of support. Plenty of Air Jordan VII Bordeaux, LeBron 8 Entourage, Supreme collabs, even a pair of Blue Lobster (with matching t-shirt) by Nike Skateboarding and CONCEPT of Boston. Then there were the “yet to be release” editions, from the Air Jordan III True Blue, set to launch this weekend, to a pair of red Air Max JR sample. With this opening, Astoria in Queens, New York City, might just become the newest destination for sneaker fiends.

Nike Air Royal Mid VT – Mesh Pack | Preview
Who knew with a simple application of mesh would give an almost unrecognizable appearance? Beside the mesh overlay, the Nike Air Royal Mid VT utilized the same Vac Tech molding method to construct its upper, hence the initials “VT”. Certainly its synthetic and leather brethren have enjoyed much attention. But because of its more pronounced features, Nike Air Royal Mid VT – Mesh Pack have taking over the spotlight. Featuring an eye catching red colorway or the more subtle grey, each is quipped with white inner linings, translucent outsole, and coordinating colored laces. New Balance is set to release this pack of 574 running kicks in the second half of this year as a part of its Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The 574’s will come in three different colors featuring contrasting colored heel tabs. The upper on the shoes are crafted from a stretchable felt-like material and nylon mesh. Nike x Nunca - Lunar Chukka Woven QS | Available Now
The second pair of the Nike and Nunca collaboration that is a part of the larger Nike Sportswear Six Artist Collaboration Collection centered around the 2010 FIFA World Cup is this new Nike Lunar Chukka Woven. The Nike Lunar Chukka Woven combines one of Nike’s newest cushioning innovations in Lunar with the Air Woven Chukka. Brazilian artist, Nunca, lent a hand by issuing this Black and Pine Green colorway along with his handwriting as seen by the “Nike Brazil” written on the shoe’s tongue. Like the Nike x Nunca Air Max BW Gen II, this Lunar Chukka Woven can be picked up at THE GOOD WILL OUT.

New Balance M998
New Balance have just dropped the latest M998 model that is an attractive general release. It is by no means anything loud or over stated but it keeps a simple gray tones accented by red highlights. Upper is a combination of real and fake leather in smooth and suede like finish. Mesh materials are used on the toe box and ankle sections for breathability. The M998 is a blend of low tech sneaker aesthetics with functional ABZORB cushioning system boldly displayed on the exterior of the midsole. Key red accents are used on the midsole, tongue detail and on the heel sections.
